It was amazing to see, and I was blown away by how kind and loving everyone was towards my children.

The only time I had a hard time, traveling there, was when I came into a restaurant with a bunch of foreigners in it and they would look at us like we had crawled out from under a rug. Such a contrast.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1050687091290445724.post-87487933521203229502008-10-06T11:25:00.000+03:002008-10-06T11:25:00.000+03:00Hi! Nice to find another foreigner living in Istanbul :)

As a Scandinavian I can tell you that it is quite common behaviour up there, people are so "cool and cold".
Here in Turkey people come to squueze even my cheeks and I am not a baby anymore :)Helihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14417866812731667942noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1050687091290445724.post-87597454266259644182008-09-29T09:31:00.000+03:002008-09-29T09:31:00.000+03:00That's a lovely bit of news about your time in Sto...That's a lovely bit of news about your time in Stockholm and a gorgeous photo of Yashar. People in Turkey are so friendly and very family oriented. Perhaps the height of people in Stockholm affects their friendliness - head in the clouds etc.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1050687091290445724.post-81919074826479776182008-09-29T09:17:00.000+03:002008-09-29T09:17:00.000+03:00Oh so cute!!!Yashar is getting so big! and such a ...Oh so cute!!!
Yashar is getting so big! and such a gorgeous boy! can't wait to see you all at Christmas
xx
emAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1050687091290445724.post-23819984686803658762008-09-29T04:51:00.000+03:002008-09-29T04:51:00.000+03:00Glad you feel like Istanbul is one of your homes n...Glad you feel like Istanbul is one of your homes now.

Riley gets all the attention down at Anglesea too - he'll wonder into the bakery by himself and comes out with a dinner roll! I should send him to do all the shopping by himself, it would be much cheaper. xAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1050687091290445724.post-39977673282863705812008-09-28T15:56:00.000+03:002008-09-28T15:56:00.000+03:00So that's where you were! The waiters will play with the kids and the kids get sweets at the grocers.Simple Answerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14822106303781479311noreply@blogger.com
